Wake Up Beautiful! Discover the Game Changing "Pacifica" Skin Care line

Wake up Beautiful! With beautiful, radiant, and younger looking skin.

Or just use the same products as part of your morning routine. This may sound unusual, as this line of products is advertised to work while you sleep. However, I use the Wake up Beautiful "Dream Jelly Face Wash" in the shower. Followed by my Wake up Beautiful "Overnight Retinoid Cream. ". Both are gentle on the skin and will not cause any discomfort.

I first tried the Overnight Retinoid Cream on a whim after reading some wonderful reviews. I tried using it a few times at night, but really, I am usually so tired, and couldn't stick to the routine. I wanted to reap the same benefits, so I started using it in the mornings. I didn't notice much of a difference at first. Other than my skin looked a little smoother and firmer. I had been alternating the Retinoid Cream with my vitamin C face cream. So this is most likely why I wasn't seeing better results. Once I moved to using the Retinoid Cream every day I began breaking out on my cheeks a tiny bit. But the product feels wonderful on, and I wear foundation over it, so It wasn't bothersome. The Retinoid Cream contains; Granactive Retinoid, Melatonin, Mushrooms and Quinoa.

Sometime later I decided to try the Wake up Beautiful "Dream Jelly Face Wash". I have to admit it took a while to get used to the feel of it on my face. It has a rich lather, but when washed off leaves the skin feeling dry and tight. However, once I applied the very moisturizing Retinoid Cream, that no longer mattered. What I noticed right away was that my skin was glowing. All the tiredness had been washed away to reveal, fresh, younger looking skin. After using "Dream Jelly Face Wash" for about two weeks, I noticed I've stopped breaking out on my cheeks. Even under make up my skin looks wonderful. I have gained a certain degree of confidence. Around week three I noticed my skin looks a LOT tighter around the jaw line, especially on the left hand side. My skin had started to sag and I had jowls! The bags underneath my eyes are a LOT less prominent, and my crows feet and fine lines appear minimized. The Face wash contains; Quinoa, Mushrooms, Hyaluronic Acid (plumping agent), Rose, and Rose Hips.

I can't wait to try Pacifica's other products! New to the Wake Up Beautiful line is the Retinoid Serum. I feel very encouraged to begin using this at night. Honestly, I can simply use a baby wipe to remove everything except my eye makeup and then apply the Retinoid Serum. Their Microneeding Patches also sound wonderful. They are super concentrated patches you can apply to any deeper wrinkles on your face (crows feet and between the brows). Apply them at night and remove them in the morning. Also available as part of the line are the Wake up Beautiful Mask and retinoid eye cream.

Pacifica Products are very reasonable priced and last a long while. The link to their page so that you may learn more about ingredients used and pricing is:

I hope you love the Pacifica "Wake Up Beautiful" line of products as much as I do!

Hiking Among the Beautiful Wild Flowers in Malibu

Getting out in nature is good for the soul, to unplug and get away from it all for a few hours. As you know contributes to peace of mind and emotional well being. What could be better than hiking by the ocean with it's spectacular views, light ocean breeze and fresh air. Located off PCH Highway, both hiking spots are within a couple blocks of each other, and very easy to find.  Malibu Bluffs Park: One of my all time favorite places to go. Is always a pleasure, especially during the spring time. I have fond memories of taking my son there as a kid, picnicking and flying kites. There are two cool playgrounds, a sand pit and a zip line area. The place has changed a lot since I've been there last (about a year ago). They have cleared away brush from the walking path around the grass, allowing for additional views of the ocean and homes on the hillsides (which are fabulously covered in yellow wild flowers at the moment). To my absolute delight, they have created a clearly marke

Discover the Picturesque Longridge Park Hiking Trail (Sherman Oaks, CA)

Me and the hubs out to discover new hiking trails in the San Fernando Valley, hit up Dixie Canyon Park first, in Sherman Oaks. First of all, Park??? There is a clearly marked trail that leads to, well, nowhere. At a certain point, after hiking about ten minutes, the trail (?) becomes WAY too narrow and dangerous with loose gravel and mud pockets. We had to turn around and head back the way we came. This is a charming little spot if you live in the direct vicinity of the "Park". It is very green and shaded over. On the plus side, the drive up is VERY pretty. Dixie Canyon is tucked into the hills of a picturesque, upper class neighborhood, full of McMansions, and all around beautiful homes of varying architecture. After Dixie Canyon I wasn't ready to go home. So, I chose for us to visit Longridge Park (?)  Longridge Park Trailhead is located up in the hills of Sherman Oaks, at the end of a lovely residential street. Again, the drive up was spectacular, through a fairy tale

Absolutely Magical butterfly Den Discovery! In Lake Balboa!

So, the butterflies have emerged once again now that the weather has warmed quite a bit. They are everywhere, BUT I have discovered the mother of all butterflies dens. A truely magical place hidden away from the main paths. While out for a bike ride today I decided to take a semi-dirt path, almost completely hidden off the main street. I had accidentally stumbled across it before, but hadn't the time to explore it. Today upen entering the bike path, off Burbank Blvd, I was completely taken aback by the sheer amount of butterflies, seemingly attracted to the bright yellow wild flowers growing along both sides of the path. I stopped for quite a long while to video tape them, but upon viewing the footage, I realized it does not compare / do the place justice. I hopped back on my bike and rode a little further, which is when I saw a closed off (barred) path to my right, with a small opening, large enough to walk a bike through. This hidden jem of a path contained even more
