Los Liones Canyon

It's always awesome finding new coastal hiking trails. I wasn't expecting such a challenging hike. But the payoff at the top is SO worth the struggle. Upon entering you will find a sign listing the different hiking trails. We took the 3.5 mile, Parker Mesa Overlook trail. This moderately strenuous, up hill all the way, hike, offers more than a handful of  beautiful ocean views. It is very green and lovely, with pretty wild flowers sprinkled throughout. The weather is a lot cooler out this way, so you can enjoy a wonderful ocean breeze that will cool you off.  The following are pics taken during the hike:  (Blog continues below)

The scenic overlook affords gorgeous views of the coastline and the city of Los Angeles. Not to mention a delicious breeze that will make you want to stay up there forever. Thankfully, the hike back is all down hill. Once again offering up beautiful views of the coast. I will definitely take this hike again in the future, despite the sometimes narrow trail, where it's necessary to stop and let others pass. Please enjoy the following pics from the top.

Ocean Trails Reserve - Rancho Palos Verdes (Ocean views galore)

Ocean Trails Reserve - Palos Verdes                 By: Dahlia Acevedo Where has this Ocean trail been all my life?! I viewed several posts about the place, as well as photographs, which did not do this place justice at all! We are talking 360 beautiful views of the golf course (which runs parallel to the trail at first), gorgeous homes in the distance, the mountains, as well as constant ocean views. Let me just take a moment to comment on the color of the ocean (really colors), A deep blue with turquoise pools, crystal clear in spots, exposing the algae below (coastline). There are four paths, two that lead down to the beach area, which is completely covered in small, grayish white rocks. Making it totally unique and picturesque. I've never seen anything like it. I've  posted a picture of the awesome looking zig zag trail leading down to the beach. Once you descend, you will see the bottom half of the cliffs are covered in rolling green, gra...

"Free Guy" Movie Synopsis and Ratings Guide

PG 13           Violence and Action Throughout, Some Sexual References, and Some Strong Language Guy, a disposable, NPC character in a popular video game, wakes up every morning to his perfectly predictable but pleasant life, where he works as a Bank Teller, and hangs out with his best friend Ron, the security guard. Until one day everything changes, Guy experiences love at first sight with the girlfriend of an armed robber, who holds up his bank. Suddenly all he can think about is a future with this mystery woman. He realizes he can make this happen by getting his hands on a pair of the special glasses he’s seen the bad guys wear. The next time his bank is held up Guy disarms the robber and takes his glasses (which he comes to find give you special abilities and access to cool features within the video game). While roaming around town wearing the glasses, he runs into HER. She teaches Guy that he ca...

Top Of Reseda Trailhead (Reseda, CA)

Top Of Reseda Trailhead When we arrived at Top of Reseda Trailhead we realized we haven't been there before. We agreed we had hiked (or walked) around a park that was at the end of Reseda, but it wasn't this one. Reseda dead ends at a massive parking structure with various hiking trails. Do yourself a favor and park at the very top, since parking is only $5. Otherwise, you can park for free, but be prepared for an uphill walk that isn't too pleasant. When you exit your vehicle pause for a moment to take in the gorgeous view of the MP Mansion estates, each equipped with their own pool and tennis court. Man! I don't need to be rich, but I would definitely LOVE to have my own pool and tennis court when I retire. I've utilized my father's gorgeous comm...
