Age Defying Products: TruSkin Eye Gel and Vitamin C Daily Facial Moisturizer

Best Eye Gel for Wrinkles, Fine Lines, Dark Circles, Puffiness and Bags, 75%
By Dahlia Acevedo

Meet TruSkin's wonderful under eye gel with Vitamin D and Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid helps to retain moisture (something we lose over time), and works as a plumping agent (fills in wrinkles and tightens the skin, making them less noticeable, helping you to look younger!). This eye gel contains plant stem cells, a peptide complex and vitamin E. And, it starts working immediately!

Lets cover benefits: Before purchasing this product I read reviews of persons claiming it does an amazing job clearing up under eye circles. Which is something admittedly I've always had, due to genetics and allergy issues. After using the product for a couple of months now, I can honestly say I haven't seen much of a difference. HOWEVER, this is a great product I stand behind.

It appears to be pricey at fifteen dollars a bottle, since it only contains 0.5 oz. However, it lasts for a long time, and I apply it semi-generously. You can even apply it to the upper eye lid, another area we tend to get swelling. It works! to tighten the area and not cause irritation.

ATTENTION: The first couple days I did experience some mild irritation, due to getting the product in my eye. Just be careful not to apply it too close to the eyeball and you should be fine. I advise that you wipe the excess gel off the surface of under eye wrinkles (wipe gently). Too much moisture is a bad thing and will make the skin sag, accentuating the wrinkles. Yes, I have experienced this.

BENEFITS:

Awakens the eyes and helps you feel more awake. Starts to decrease puffiness and firm the skin around the eye right away. In about ten minutes time you will notice a big difference. I usually have to apply a second layer of the product over smaller bags directly under the eye. This helps to diminish them completely. I still have the slight under eye circles, but look well rested (despite maybe not sleeping well),

The end result: Brighter, tighter, younger looking skin with diminished looking wrinkles.

2oz Truskin Vitamin C Moisturizer Cream for Face Neck & Décolleté for Anti-Aging

Reintroducing TruSkin Vitamin C Daily Facial Moisturizer. Good News! I have been using this product now for months and it has transformed my skin. I stopped using my other age defying (yeah right!) lotion. I only apply TruSkin vitamin C Daily Facial Moisturizer to my skin now. No need to use sparingly, it's not going to irritate your skin. I have sensitive skin and haven't experienced any discomfort, burning, redness, etc. I had purchased TruSkin's Retinol lotion, but it only worked to a certain degree and is very heavy. It did however, diminish the rough patch (weathered looking skin), I had on my forehead and some age spots. As well as diminished the appearance of my crows feet. I ultimately decided it was too expensive and doesn't work well enough.

This Vitamin C lotion firms the skin, diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, and gives you a nice hydrated, healthy glow. YOU WILL LOOK YOUNGER!! Now when looking at myself in the mirror, when I first wake up to use the bathroom, I see a younger looking woman. This is before applying lotion or makeup. It's great! What's lovely is you may be able to stop using foundation, powder, highlighter, whatever! Stop hiding underneath these products, you don't need them! Especially with the hot weather, and makeup melting off the skin. Maybe invest in a good waterproof eye liner and mascara. Use a primer on the upper lids of the eyes and apply eye shadow afterwards, to experience all day staying power. Apply some light bronzer or blush on the cheeks and some lipstick / gloss, and enjoy. I don't care how many age defying makeup products exist out there. Makeup ages the skin and causes irritation / breakouts. I say skip it!

Hiking Among the Beautiful Wild Flowers in Malibu

Getting out in nature is good for the soul, to unplug and get away from it all for a few hours. As you know contributes to peace of mind and emotional well being. What could be better than hiking by the ocean with it's spectacular views, light ocean breeze and fresh air. Located off PCH Highway, both hiking spots are within a couple blocks of each other, and very easy to find.  Malibu Bluffs Park: One of my all time favorite places to go. Is always a pleasure, especially during the spring time. I have fond memories of taking my son there as a kid, picnicking and flying kites. There are two cool playgrounds, a sand pit and a zip line area. The place has changed a lot since I've been there last (about a year ago). They have cleared away brush from the walking path around the grass, allowing for additional views of the ocean and homes on the hillsides (which are fabulously covered in yellow wild flowers at the moment). To my absolute delight, they have created a clearly marke

Discover the Picturesque Longridge Park Hiking Trail (Sherman Oaks, CA)

Me and the hubs out to discover new hiking trails in the San Fernando Valley, hit up Dixie Canyon Park first, in Sherman Oaks. First of all, Park??? There is a clearly marked trail that leads to, well, nowhere. At a certain point, after hiking about ten minutes, the trail (?) becomes WAY too narrow and dangerous with loose gravel and mud pockets. We had to turn around and head back the way we came. This is a charming little spot if you live in the direct vicinity of the "Park". It is very green and shaded over. On the plus side, the drive up is VERY pretty. Dixie Canyon is tucked into the hills of a picturesque, upper class neighborhood, full of McMansions, and all around beautiful homes of varying architecture. After Dixie Canyon I wasn't ready to go home. So, I chose for us to visit Longridge Park (?)  Longridge Park Trailhead is located up in the hills of Sherman Oaks, at the end of a lovely residential street. Again, the drive up was spectacular, through a fairy tale

Absolutely Magical butterfly Den Discovery! In Lake Balboa!

So, the butterflies have emerged once again now that the weather has warmed quite a bit. They are everywhere, BUT I have discovered the mother of all butterflies dens. A truely magical place hidden away from the main paths. While out for a bike ride today I decided to take a semi-dirt path, almost completely hidden off the main street. I had accidentally stumbled across it before, but hadn't the time to explore it. Today upen entering the bike path, off Burbank Blvd, I was completely taken aback by the sheer amount of butterflies, seemingly attracted to the bright yellow wild flowers growing along both sides of the path. I stopped for quite a long while to video tape them, but upon viewing the footage, I realized it does not compare / do the place justice. I hopped back on my bike and rode a little further, which is when I saw a closed off (barred) path to my right, with a small opening, large enough to walk a bike through. This hidden jem of a path contained even more
